Quando si parla di Dimitris Papaioannou, difficilmente la definizione di “autore” potrebbe essere più calzante: un marchio di fabbrica subito riconoscibile. In INK il guardiano di un universo oscuro e sommerso cerca di mantenere l’ordine. Come un fragile gioco di equilibri. L’intrusione di un visitatore dalle viscere della terra sconvolge la sua esistenza solitaria, intro- ducendo al contempo dolcezza e crudeltà.
In un duetto che sfuma presto in duello, il grande artista greco – accompagnato dall’affascinante danzatore Šuka Horn – sonda i limiti della realtà attraverso i filtri della fantascienza e dell’horror. Il risultato è un inse- guimento avvincente, una caccia all’uomo da incubo.

When it comes to Dimitris Papaioannou, the defini- tion of “author” could hardly be more fitting: a hallmark brand invariably recognisable. In INK, the guardian of a dark, flooded universe tries to maintain order. It is a fragile balancing act. The intrusion of a visitor from the bowels of the earth disrupts his solitary existence, introducing both gentleness and cruelty.
In a duet that soon morphs into a duel, the great Greek artist – accompanied by the fascinating dancer Šuka Horn – probes the limits of reality through the filters of science fiction and horror. The result is a gripping chase, a nightmarish manhunt.
