Un’opera in miniatura che nasce dalla complicità de- cennale tra Nino Laisné – tra i più eclettici degli artisti francesi – e il musicista spagnolo Daniel Zapico. Sfuggendo a qualsiasi classificazione, Arca ostinata rappresenta un tributo alla musicalità trasognante della tiorba (un grande liuto del XVI secolo) e alle atmo- sfere evocative dell’epoca barocca. Oltre al lavoro di recupero e di ricerca storica, è un’enorme lanterna magica a trasportare lo spettatore in un tempo altro, in un sogno ad occhi aperti, tra luci, scenografie
e composizioni visive. Parallelamente, la dimensione sonora riporta in vita i grandi miti musicali di un tempo lontano, in chiave contemporanea e ibridata. Una fan- tasmagoria, un bestiario di immagini, suoni e colori.

A miniature opera born of the decades-long collaboration between Nino Laisné – among the most eclectic of French artists – and Spanish musician Daniel Zapico. Escaping traditional classifications, Arca ostinata is a tribute to the dreamy musicality of the theorbo (a great lute from the 16th century) and the evocative atmospheres of the Baroque era. In this work of historical revival and research, a huge magic lantern transports the viewer to another moment in time, as if in a dream filled with lights, sets and visual compositions. In parallel, the sound dimension brings back to life the great musical myths of a distant time, in a contemporary and hybridized key. A phantasmagoria, a bestiary of images, sounds and colors.
